Product Classification: Divided into anhydrous magnesium chloride and hexahydrate magnesium chloride by content.

Hexahydrate magnesium chloride: also called brine flakes or magnesium chloride hexahydrate crystals. It is a colourless crystal that deliquesces easily in air (higher humidity accelerates deliquescence). Mixed with magnesium oxide and water, it forms magnesium cement. It reacts with metals or alkaline earth metal oxides.
